I have probably the classic notions of human zeal: if it does not work on yourself, it means he does not need. but I have this – I find it hard sometimes to get yourself in spite of the fact that the insane want to learn! =)
First of all, you have to choose a Bass Guitar that suites your needs just like the genre or music you want to play. If you are planning to play a jazz music, I guess you have to buy a jazz bass.
I prefer the six string guitar myself but this is useful information for the four stringers amongst us!
